It worked well and was fine. I didn't love the design in-place as much as I had hoped.

I bought these a while ago for a project and didn't buy again. They were not well liked by potential buyers of the home. We got feedback to that effect.

The Matte Black fixture is actually both Black and GOLD. The inside of the metal dome is a gold finish. Quality seemed fine, but I would not have purchased had I known it was also gold.

What a gorgeous entry way light. It's the perfect size for our small entry way. The shade of gold is perfect, not to yellow or brassy. Very easy to install.
