The artwork arrived well packaged and without damage. I like the 1.5 inch frame for the canvas, it feels and looks more substantial and quality. I do wish that the artwork had texture which would give it more depth and interest. Overall, these are nice pieces.

Overall Size:20" H x 40" W
I have this work in the 20 by 40 inch size. It comes with hardware to make hanging easy. Because of the description in Wayfair, I get the impression the work is to be hung with the dark edge at the bottom, however I have found it attractive and interesting when it is hung in any direction. The design is basically black, gray, and white with an accent of reddish brown near the point of interest. The design reminds me of a cross section of a tree. The tree slab seems to be irregularly broken in half with the slab design covering ⅔ of the canvas. The remainder ⅓ of the design is not only a black empty space but the artist has added depth with slight color variations of gray and reddish-brown brush strokes. The concentric circles along with the lines that appear to be cracks in the wood bring the viewers eye back to the point of interest which is below and to the left of the center of the canvas. This design reminds me of a tree section. Knowing that each concentric arch would be a year of growth for a tree makes the design intriguing, with the wider sections indicating a good year of growth and the narrower sections depicting a year not as good, perhaps a drought. This design reflects life. We have good years and years that are difficult, but looking at the rings reminds one that difficult times will pass and be followed by better times. This work could be an interesting addition to your home.
