Originally I was going to rate this a 1 because of the confounding experience I have had with this unit.
First of all, package comes very well packaged, so unit showed up with no damage or missing pieces. It’s is a heavy box, and so getting it out of the box can be a challenge if you are by yourself. I laid it down gently and pulled it out myself.
What has me frustrated is, you have to adhere the heating element into the panel using small screws through a narrow opening. When I read the instructions it appeared that there should have been predrilled holes which then one can use a Philips screwdriver to put in the screws. Well there are NO predrilled holes. Contacted Wayfair and they shipped another unit out after some back and forth. Overall pleasant experience.
However, after receiving the new unit, it did not have predrilled holes either. So I assumed I read things wrong. But try as hard as I might those little screws were not going into the panel using a screwdriver. Sigh….so after some adjustments to our various drill bit attachments, we were able to make a long drill bit which allowed us go through the narrow opening and drill all (6) screws in.
Too many complications. However, the unit is cute enough, maybe for a small cabin or rec room that needs heating. So if you take the above experience into consideration, this furnace might just work for you. The actual unit itself once assembled is just fine, it’s the assembly that was frustrating.
