We ordered this for our son as he got his apartment. We looked at a lot of options. This collection was by far the best choice for quality at an affordable price. When we received it we checked all the pieces and made sure they all were intact and the pieces that were to light did light. In the description specification it says it plays Christmas carols...it does not. Each piece has its own onoff switch...they do not have a timer. There is very nice detail to each piece. We cant wait to gift this to him. If you are looking to start a Christmas village this is an excellent place to start.

Was a pretty village. However due to a horrible customer service experience with Wayfair I can no longer suggest anyone purchase from this company!!!!
