Bought it for my sons tree at his house we all love it

Cheaply made, so lightweight and bendy it is hard to even keep its axels in place, let along sit the train on the track. Also too flimsy for the train parts to stay connected so there is zero possibility of this thing running. Makes loud sounds but the steam is actually just burning plastic smelling smoke. It requires no water to make the smoke so who knows what’s burning in there. Had to air the house out with freezing cold on Christmas morning. There are these holes in the top of each cart covered by these flimsy little stickers. It is not a case of having some manufacturing defect, this product is overall a piece of trash. 

Awesome train set! Just what I was looking for to go around my tree

Omg! Should have listened to the reviews. Avoid purchasing at all costs. This train was a complete 90 joke! The tracks were all fragile and all broke within seconds of assembly. The train couldn’t properly connect to tag along with each other on the track. Surface has to be completely flat and I’m convinced a hair could throw this train off the track. The vintage concept was nice and it is very unique looking, but I think I’ll go try to find a different one. I don’t have a use for this one at this point.

This is the 2nd one. The first one got replaced because a few of the tracks came broken right where they clip together. The train itself, along with the box cars are flimsy. Not of good quality at all. The set is not worth the price.
