I was so excited when I ordered this piece, I even decided to get it in the 45 x 30 which I believe was on sale for $135. Unfortunately, when I got it, I wasn’t as impressed or happy as I thought I would be I wanted it to be focal point and make a statement in my bathroom, but it just wasn’t that. First off it really isn’t black….It’s more of a faded gray, not as bold as what the picture shows either. Anyway I figured I spent $135 on this huge canvas and I need to make myself love it so I decided to redo the entire canvas and now I absolutely LOVEEEEEE it. I wish I could post a video but it won’t let me so I’m gonna post a before picture from when I received itand some after pictures that really aren’t doing the piece any justice because of the mirror pieces and reflections. I moved the words around, did some painting, and some silver leafing, sanding, then added some wooden appliqués that I spray painted. I also bought some wooden letters that I spray painted and then completely mirrored the letters and sealed them. I also wanted to add even a little moreeee glam so I had an extra piece of wood from a piece of furniture that I never used laying around and decided to make it into a little top piece for the canvas and I completely mirrored that as well! So I feel like if you want to take the time to just add a little extra personal touches to this piece then you can really make it amazing otherwise it’s just OK as is. ☹️
