I need to update my positive “former” review of 5 stars
as this was purchased and not immediately installed as I awaited other install appointments and painting if room first.
Impressive to look at but remote already needed a battery and was not consistent in turning on and off.
Last night I woke up to glass fragments very sharp all over the room including on my bed, a damaged new dresser now needing a glass top and repair. Plus
my stereo was ruined!
All glass was on the dresser and all over the room yet it was still hanging. I’m afraid of it!
IT IS IN PIECES even though professionally installed in proper studs using Manufacturers own hardware with instructions.
I’m not able to speak to a customer service rep so far today although they are opened,
but they did not offer installation of it upon purchase, as they do with other items, which you absolutely need as it is very heavy!
Buyer be ware as suppose it was in a child’s room It is also for extra warmth. Pls See photos as it’s in a million pieces in one bucket.
Very scary experience not to mention my financial loss of purchase and additional installation.
Wall mount needed as cord hung down the wall until the electrician could put a plate to hide it, yet it still needs to come back out to a plug behind the dresser . I’ll update as company needs to stand up on this or I’ve lost a lot financially not to mention dresser is irreplaceable and floor is all scratched up and was just refinished. NOTE crystals add a lot of weight! Photos on web show weightless fake log. Just a real mess and now expense. Wayfair is not at fault as I LIKE THE COMPANY, SELLER
