[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this semi-flush mount lighting fixture from Progress Lighting in exchange for my honest review. There are a lot of things I love about it. First, the matte black finish and overall design, which is contemporary and fits in well with my transitional style and existing decor. Also, the ability to arrange the three lightbulbs so they cast light in the desired directions during install makes this a versatile fixture that we could have used in a variety of locations throughout our home. The fixture calls for iridescent bulbs, which is a huge plus for me, and it is dimmable as well. The dimming feature is very smooth, and we haven’t had any flickering or flashing at all since we installed it, which was NOT true of the fixture it replaced. There were a few cons for me as well, the two biggest being the size of the fixture itself (which is much smaller than it appeared in the photos I chose my product from), and the size of the bulbs it takes. It calls for bulbs with an E12 candelabra base, rather than a standard E26 base. Finding bulbs that fit an E12 base is difficult, but actually finding 60 watt bulbs (the maximum recommended for use in each socket) and large-sized bulbs like the ones shown in the manufacturer’s photos is nearly impossible (or it seems to be after spending months researching online anyway). I wish the fixture itself was larger and it had standard E26 sockets to accommodate the bulbs I’d love to use in it. That would really make it a statement piece that would wow guests as soon as they come in our front door and enter our foyer! It’s a nice, solid fixture though, and a vast improvement from the old one! I recommend it, just realize it’s not as large as it appears!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light was extremely easy to assemble and install. I love the matte black finish as it matches the rest of the matte black fixtures in my home. This style of fixture would work in many different home designs as it is very sleek and stylish. I also appreciate that it is energy-efficient! fixtures at competitive prices. The only downside I noticed is the long pieces that attach to the base seem a little flimsy, but since no one will be pulling at the fixture, it will be fine.
