I had an antique desk with marquetry and it was starting to come up and would catch on your arm or your clothes. I didn't want to destroy the beauty of the desktop but wanted to preserve it, so this did the trick. I can see the beauty of the wood beneath it and the top of the desk is protected. It was exactly what I was looking for. Wayfair thank you for solving this problem for me.
