Not only was this electric fireplace everything I hoped for, it has the most realistic flame I have seen in ANY electric fireplace. The wood lights upas though it is burning, there are "live" coals on the bottom and the flames appear to be coming from the logs, not a light behind the logs like so many other electric fireplaces I looked at. This fireplace is well worth the money!
