These are unusual and very pretty. They coordinate with both of my sets of China (heirloom and contemporary) and will make gorgeous serving platters year-round. We've never had chargers and shopping for them was harder than I expected -- the ones that I found were either super expensive, super cheap and tacky, or "for decorative purposes only and not for food," which is crazy. These were affordable and will be a nice addition to our special family dinners throughout the year.
