Both frames (white) have a messy splotchy appearance on the top and bottom, but my biggest issue is that the plexiglass is so thin that it bows out rather than sitting neatly against the picture. There is no way I will hang this where I planned to. The backing is nothing but cardboard, so I'm not really sure what we paid nearly $200 for. They're essentially like framed posters. Considering the potential costs of return shipping, we're now trying to get glass cut to fit the frame and hope it's presentable. The smaller sizes may not be such an issue with the plexiglass, but the size we ordered is larger and the thin material makes it very obviously bowed. I wish we hadn't purchased the framed versions.
