Well, minor stuff first. The product listing is tagged with "food mill" somewhere, so all the notifications of shipping and whatnot were incorrectly labeled. More to the point, in the battery compartment both springs are on the same end, suggesting that the batteries should go in the same way round (they shouldn't). Finally, when I put it on my finger and push the 'on' button it powers up, sets all its numerals to dashes (presumably taring itself), then just turns off. I've had a pulse oximeter before, and there wasn't anything else to set or do, so I don't know if I've missed something or it's just not functional.
