This desk mat is expensive, but I am so glad I purchased it. The pad is 1/4" deep and heavy enough that it never shifts or moves on the desk. I would buy again, but I think this mat will last many years.

Perfect for my husband's desk, like the fact that it has felp on the bottom so it doesn't scratch the desk. Looks very elegant.

I like the quality, however it slides across the desk. It needs some type of backing to keep it in place.
