Casse-noisette Clara

The Clara Nutcracker itself would have been adorable had it not been for the poor packaging by Wayfair. The item arrived with the little nutcracker Clara was supposed to be holding in her hand, loose and floating in the box. There was a dent on the stand and Clara’s hair was disheveled and detached to the point where you could see the back of her wooden head. Customer service was supposedly going to send me instructions for returning it and send me a new one but it’s been five days without any contact from them. I have tried to return this Nutcracker online through my account with Wayfair but that option is no longer available to me.

I needed a Clara to go with a Mouse king and Droselmeyer I alreyhad. This one is very cute. I love the hair. The dress is a little plain but since it’s actually a nightgown, it works.

Almost completes my collection.

Another great gift to our daughter. She collects nutcrackers.
