Started collecting nutcrackers a couple of years ago. Although I'm happy with my other nutcrackers, this one is by far the best of the lot! The workmanship is outstanding. It was a little pricey. But, well worth it. I'm more than pleased with this purchase. Even though Christmas is over, I'm going to purchase at least one more from this company this month. The manufacturer is out of Germany.
