I was looking for a piece of artwork that I could hang over my mantle during the holidays as a temporary replacement for my standard artwork. This fits the bill just perfectly. The black and white color scheme is calm enough to hang prominently in my home without screaming "holiday cheer" and maintaining a level of sophistication that was important to me.
