Berlin is one of my favorite places in the world and I love the history behind this art association. I thought this would be good for our room. I have not bought canvas art online too much before so I thought I would try. All of our home art we originally had at our home in England we had to donate before I repatriated to the US, so our walls have been pretty empty besides the photography I’ve done of my kids. I figured this was a good start! Having done photography and printing for clients, I was underwhelmed by this canvas art print’s printing quality. It looked like a low-resolution jpeg was increased in size beyond its max resolution, so it looked fuzzy or pixelated in places. It was also not aligned properly, so the black border shows on the front or bottom on a couple sides and then wrap around to be only seen on the actual sides of the canvas. To me, this wasn’t acceptable. If I had any such print made for a client with a border on the artwork, it would be aligned properly so a smidge is seen evenly on each side or not seen at all. Otherwise, it looks sloppy and unprofessional. I love the actual artwork, but the quality is disappointing. I’ll still leave it up as you can’t tell (unless you’re me, I guess!) from a distance. The packing for shipment was perfect, though. It was securely packed and the art print itself wrapped in brown paper.
