Café amoureux avec amour de Cupidon - rouge

Ordered the Cupid Red version, but what arrived was clearly orange and nowhere close to the color shown online. Since the red Valentine color is the entire point of this piece, getting the wrong color completely defeats the purpose. To make matters worse, out of curiosity, my wife ordered the same item after my return and hers also arrived orange as well, proving this isn’t a one-off mistake but an ongoing issue. I also spent a good amount of time completing Wayfair’s online return form, carefully adding details and photos. When I was finally connected to a chat agent, the first thing he asked was, “What is the issue”, meaning I had to retype everything and resend photos all over again. The agent didn’t even properly identify himself and showed very little empathy for the time already wasted dealing with this purchase. He then asked if I would drive the return to the nearest FedEx drop-off myself, which honestly made me laugh in disgust considering the item was incorrect through no fault of mine. They offered to send a replacement, but when I asked the rep to guarantee the replacement would actually match the red shown in the Wayfair photo, he eventually admitted he couldn’t guarantee it. So customers are expected to gamble on getting the correct item a second time. What’s most disappointing is that even after two returns caused by the promoted color being completely wrong, the item is still being sold as “Cupid Red” without any correction, setting future buyers up for the same issue. Between very misleading product photos and the frustrating return process, this was a very disappointing experience overall. I expected better quality control and customer service. Not recommended unless you’re willing to receive a totally different color than the promoted Wayfair photos and deal with the hassle of returns and customer service that doesn’t respect your time or purchase.
