The tray isn’t a black plastic normal tray, a cardboard wood type material ???

I am very satisfied with my purchase. To my surprise my dog appears to enjoy himself in it. He is not kennel cage trained yet but l left the doors open so he can explore the cage and learn it will not harm him.

I ordered a black kennel and received a blue one. Also, it was assembled incorrectly. The doors opened into the kennel rather than outwards. My husband disassembled and then reassembled it. Other than that it is an excellent good quality kennel. I contacted Wayfair and Elizabeth was excellent to deal with. I just wanted to let them know. Fortunately we could fix it and not have to return it. We received a discount which was very considerate. I am sure a female puppy doesn’t care about the colour. Lol
