[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have lots of Vego Garden products, but these are my first self-watering beds. I put them along the side of our house and they are only seen from inside our house so I was concerned about remembering/wanting to water when it's hot. The area faces north, but still gets mostly full sun in the summertime. The biggest change I made was that I didn't include all of the self-watering panels on the bottom. I kept out two of the triangular pieces in the bottom because these beds are very, very close to our gutters. Because they are old and rickety and can sometimes overflow, I didn't want the beds to be catching all that additional water. It is an imperfect solution to an irritating problem, but trying to think ahead.

I have enjoyed using the 2 by 8 raised bed gardens. I added the mesh and frost covers this season to make it easier to extend the growing season to year round
