It works great and is exactly what we wanted. The whole family uses it and loves it. You can pick the area you want or do every area and it has multiple selections for how you want the massage in that selected area. Plus it even hits the hips! Not alot do that. However, note that it is more of a vibrating type and not a kneading kind. It does have a kneading section to pick, but its a vibration type of kneading and not the kind that presses into your back hard and works out knots like some of the other ones out there (at least mine doesnt). It still feels great though because it hits everywhere in the right spot without hurting after.
