This is beautiful as a light fixture at the top of the stairs. The only issue was when installing the holes did not align with the plate to attach so we had to use wall mounts that we already had. It is

Beautiful addition for our stairs to basement. It is on an angled ceiling that greets me descending the stairs. I love it!

Should have checked the measurements more carefully. My mistake. Lovely light for a small space. Unfortunately, I have a medium large space. Glass is lovely.

Flush mount it is not. The inch or so mounting frame is clearly visible over the top of the glass, which is beautiful. If one can get past the visible frame it's lovely. A clear bulb (daylight) is beautiful, while soft light makes it look yellow. The size is perfect for a hallway/foyer or small bedroom.
