Put it together in one evening by myself, though it was a LOT of parts, and probably couldn't easily be don't in a small space. It looks nice, and the fire has kind of a cute Halloween esque look that I personally think it's charming but may not be for everyone.

It looks perfect in the space. Time consuming assembly but all in all not terrible. Love it!!!

I really like this fireplace. I've been wanting one for several years now and finally made the decision. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase. It's the perfect size for what I was looking for (a lot of the others I'd found were shorter than I wanted). I can't wait for Christmas when I can decorate and hang stockings. I don't currently have anything on the shelves because I have a 16 month old, but eventually I'll have this looking perfect. My only complaint is that there were a couple of steps where we were missing pre-drilled holes. You'll definitely need a power drill to fix this problem. I also would have liked for there to be a child lock on the buttons because my toddler keeps pushing them and turning on the heat (it's April and we live in Phoenix). For now I just have to keep it unplugged.
