Not five stars ONLY because I was not prepared for the weight of the fixture. Do NOT install without making certain that your electrical box is metal-not plastic and that it is beam mounted. Mine was NOT and it pulled out of the ceiling.

The girls and I finished "dressing" this elegant chandelier in just a few minutes. I recommend that if you must hire an electrician or handyman to install the canopy, save hanging the crystals for yourself ~ a thoroughly enjoyable "crystal party" project for a Saturday morning, and easily done! As promised, I'm back to add a few photos (please ignore the textured ceiling, I plan to remedy that soon!). Some of the photos appear gold in color ~ the light in no way appears gold~ish ~ this is just how my elderly digital camera handles the fantastic, colorful refraction of the crystals when the chandelier light is turned on and the white light overload causes my camera's aperture to constrict to prevent a blinding effect. The darkness of the background in the "gold" photos shows you just how constricted my camera's aperture had to be, because with the bulbs I used (see below), this is the brightest chandelier lighting I've ever had. The other photos were taken with the camera's flash, but even then the aperture constricted slightly, making the photos appear to be taken in ambient daytime lighting with the chandelier turned off. This aperture problem the camera effected to avoid the images washing out from the brightness of the light tells you how brilliant this chandelier is, and that the photos do not do it justice! Incidentally I highly recommend using GE Reveal 60~watt Decorative 'B' Type Candelabra Base Bulbs. The Full~Spectrum WHITE lighting of GE's Reveal candelabra bulbs is the only thing that could possibly do this stunning chandelier justice! FYI, I paid for the Elegant Cut upgrade for the crystals. Not knowing how the Royal Cut or the two Swarovski cuts look, I cannot compare it for you. I only know that I do not regret a single penny of the cost for this upgrade . . . the result is exquisite! I am sure the sight of it will bring delightful color for my dear Mother to enjoy!! <3
