This is printed on low-quality transparent canvas -- you can see the horizontal stabilizing wood bar in the back center right through the white. But that's not the worst part -- on the surface of the "canvas", you can easily see the pixellated "print" of the image. So disappointing. I am sorry, but it looks cheap and low quality. It's more like a pixelated poster print trying to pass off as art. I was sincerely expecting that there would be some authentic oil painting on top of the print to give a more realistic appearance with texture. Hands down absolutely is not worth the $260+ price tag. I bought a larger picture in here (see my reviews) on canvas and it was framed in gold, looks nicer than this one, and was only $67. I would have paid more for that one than this. I love everything I have purchased from Wayfair, but not this piece. Just not worth the price. :(

The painting is beautiful, the size fits my wall perfectly. I was not expecting such High quality artwork. I nailed it with this purchase
