Even though we've always decorated sort of country shabby chic, we decided to change things up some with this as the art above our fireplace. My husband "allowed" me to add a antique looking clock to the center of the mantle. It looks FANTASTIC. My husband is a retired pilot, and a veteran, and this is his favorite plane.
