This wildly impressionistic Van Gogh looks better from a distance than it does up close. I anticipated the poplars being much more green but they are clearly orange and look a lot like fire. However, this is still an improvement from what is currently hanging in my office. I have ordered a second, different Van Gogh to hang on the adjacent wall so at least these will complement each other nicely. The actual piece is lightweight, making it a breeze to hang.

It’s a beautiful painting and a nice quality framed canvas. I was worried about the loss of resolution or detail with the large scale version of the image but it looks good. It’s better from a bit farther away but no loss of quality up close. It does mirror around the edges. Happy!
