Have a ceiling that you want a light that no one can see. This is perfect. We added this to our craft room where the ceilings were already low, we needed a lot of light, and we didn't want the light the focus of the room. Even though no one is looking at this light, it is beautiful/simple.

Good quality plus a good price. Ordered two for a hallway and they provide just the light I needed. The rim is textured , not smooth, if that makes a difference to you. Once they are up this really is not apparent.

great product, great price. can't beat it!
