Directions were a little hard to figure out, but once we figured it out, it looked and worked great.

We are installing this at the bottom of a staircase so size is perfect. It is artistically designed and adds a bit of flair over and above a plain melon fixture. Fixture is very lightweight but that is OK with us. White strip around the outside is a rubbery material and had come apart from the black "frame". I suspect this happened during delivery because the box was so badly damaged that it had been re-wrapped by the carrier. It was easy enough to put this back together but we'll see if it works OK when installed. It is a one piece fixture already assembled.
