as other reviewers have noted, this thing is heavy-duty! We have it set on top of our microwave (which is on a shelf in our pantry) and it works perfectly to hold all our Chilewich placemats that otherwise want to slither around. The magnet is SO strong, it was actually challenging to reposition on top of the microwave once placed! Super pleased with this; I'm pretty sure it'll outlast us. :)

Strong magnets make this metal folder perfect for what we need to share with renters.

This place mat holder was exactly what I needed to help me use a shelf for more than just placemats. I didn't stick it onto anything metalic, just used it as mini-shelf and set platters on top of it. The placemat holder is great -- sturdy, simple and elegant!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great way to organize my Chilewich placemats. It keeps them handy yet out of the way when not in use. I love that it’s magnetic so sticks to my metal pantry cabinet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a small kitchen and I wasn’t sure if this would function for me but, boy, was I wrong! It’s the thing I didn’t know I needed and looks good. Great design and frees up space in my drawer! It’s heavy and I was worried the magnet wouldn’t hold it up but it’s very strong and I’ve had no issues. Placemats fit perfectly.
