The hole is reinforced so you never have to worry about a wire or string being able to easily rip it. Cardstock is smooth and very durable since it is not thin at all. Using a fine point marker, the paper did not "bleed" when I wrote on it, which I love. I would highly recommend these fine products to everyone.
