This product is the best to use all over the house, not just in the kitchen. I believe in labeling everything that comes into our home so I can keep up with the freshness and use frequency of everything. I treat our home as a warehouse or store should to determine what and when to buy, this is called the "min/max method". These labels are very easy to write on identifying the contents and date placed in the refrig and/or freezer, preferably using a Sharpie pen, and easy to remove with no residue left behind 9 times out of 10 times. I highly recommend this to everyone wanting to keep up with what an item is in the refrigerator and especially the freezer. and the date refers to when the item was placed in storage. Seeing mold on any food item, fresh or frozen, is extremely dangerous and unhealthy. Make life easier for yourself with this item and enjoy life.
