Absolutely love this fixture ! It was a little hard at first to accept the price, also didn't get a chance to see it in the black until it arrived. The frame is solid and substantial. . The stock photo doesn't really illustrate this properly. We bought the incandescent variety, because my dimmer circuit isn't equipped with the data wires required for dimming most led equipped fixtures. Went to HD and picked up some Philips a15 bulbs, they're labeled ceiling fan light bulbs. I cleaned out the insides of the globes, as they did have a residue from the manufacturing process. Looking great , I even incorporated my LED circuit , placing a pair of short RGB strips onto the sides of the fixture base. I'll attach a couple pics of what we ended up looking like. Also I would like to note that the product was packed incredibly well. .for 55"wide, I was definitely concerned with it arriving without damage. They had box inside huge peanuts box. The globes were in bubble wrapped boxes, not a scratch on anything.!
