While the pillow is visually appealing, its functional size is significantly smaller than the listed dimensions. The measurements seem to include the decorative ruffle around the edge, rather than the actual pillow surface. Counting the ruffle as part of the physical dimensions feels deceptive and results in a product that does not match expectations.

The color is more of a pale yellow, not the soft beige pictured. The material is a thin cheap velvet but very soft. Beware the cover is not removable! The cover tacked to the filling at the tuft points. It also tends to flop down as other reviewers have noted. This may eventually become a cat bed in my home.
