This is a perfect bed for a child that has asthma. While not specifically sold as a medical device , it is perfect for helping him sleep at the necessary incline to help his oxygen levels. It’s hard to tell the incline in the photos but it does raise up to very high levels as needed. The remote works well as well and he likes using it to move his bed up and down . The bed itself feels strong and sturdy. Our 100lb Rottweiler gets on the bed with him all the time without the bed so much as making a creak. So I feel like it will be durable as well! So glad we got this bed, highly recommend.
