Gel memory foam mattress was easy to open and place on the bed. It quickly expanded to king size. It is pretty firm and I think I will have to add a foam topper to make it a little softer, other than that it is very nice

I’ve only slept on this mattress for one night so far, but my first impression is very positive! It arrived in a long, heavy box. I was able to maneuver it into the house myself, although it definitely took some strength. Once I got it onto the platform bed and cut it open, it expanded incredibly fast and reached its full size much quicker than I expected. I typically prefer a very soft, plush pillow-top mattress, so this medium-firm mattress is definitely firmer than I’m used to. I honestly expected to wake up sore, especially since I deal with lupus and joint pain, but surprisingly, I woke up feeling great! I was so comfortable that I didn’t even want to get out of bed. My husband is much taller and heavier than I am, and he has some concerns about the durability. He says he can already feel the springs when getting up, which makes him question how well the mattress will hold up over time. Only time will tell, but so far, I’m happy with the comfort and support. It expands quickly and seems to be a good mattress for the price. Just be prepared for a very heavy box and a mattress that’s a little firmer than expected! (I attached a picture of my bed frame so people interested can see the height)
