This is an amazing mattress cover! Why Im so glad you asked. This mattress cover is padded with a thick layer of.....padding. It washes well in my washing machine, but my dryer is older, so it left a slight burn mark when I dried it which scared me just a little. I will probably hang it outside to dry going forward. Because I like to drink my morning coffee in bed AND I have four dogs who insist on joining me, this mattress pad has been instrumental in saving my mattress from numerous coffee stains. Im very thankful! So thank you, Wayfair, for such a great product!

I placed my order for this topper two years ago for my elderly aunt. She was very happy with it, but it did not provide as much cushion as we had hoped. It did not fluff up as much as what the stock photos indicated, but it did provide some minor cushioning for her hips. 

This is perfect for people who always think the bed is too hard, like me! It is wonderfully full (2") and makes the bed so much more comfortable . It also isn't hot, which is a plus. The sides are extra deep so it will fit any mattress. The mattress topper is also machine washable. I recommend this product for anyone looking to make their bed a bit more comfortable.

This topper definitely helps soften the hard mattress we have. I don't like the look of those eggcrate foam pads & was concerned they wouldn't stay in place so being that we needed a new mattress pad anyway, figured we'd try this. I let it sit out for a couple of days after unpacking it & it did plump up a bit. Fits perfectly on the king size mattress with a tiny bit of overhang on the sides but not by much. You can still feel the hardness of the mattress underneath but it's a big improvement & feels nice & fluffy. Got a good night's sleep the first night too!

We’re redoing my son’s room and his new mattress was way too firm. I was looking for a cover that was easily washable and also softened up the mattress some. It wasn’t quite as plush as it looked like it would be but he’s happy. Said it’s a big improvement over the mattress itself.
