The large rug has two black marks on it. I tried washing them out by hand, but ended up washing both rugs in the washer. I followed the rugs' washing instructions. I ended up with so much fabric fluff all over the washer's drum, it looked like I had washed a sheep. The rugs will pilled with twisted fiber fluff, which I hand picked off. I lined dried the rugs. After all that I am using them.
