The faux satin pillowcases were packaged nicely and shipped in a box. The texture was kind of stiff and not luxuriously smooth. I usually wash most new items anyhow since there have chemicals in them from the manufacturing process. The whole point of buying satin is to benefit my skin so not washing them defeats the purpose. They had to be re-rinsed several times to get out the wrinkles and then I added softner so they feel decent. For the price they are fine. I can't give less than 4 stars because they were not expensive and you get what you pay for. So for what they are they are worth the price. They are sewn well with an inner pocket to keep the pillow from sliding out.

They came airtight sealed in a box when I open them up hours later they fluffed up. very comfortable firm but not too firm. Very nice would recommend.
