The pillow remains plump when shifted about throughout the night! Comfortable, soft with a firmness which comes from the quantity of bird down. Something I didn't notice during the shopping process was the info on the tag (no way to see this until you own it): minimum 75% down. In other words, for a down pillow to exclude the word "feathers" from the description (for us folks looking for 100% bird down), it can be minimum 75% down -- the remaining percentage is feathers! That shocked me but something I now know. Unless the product description says 100% down (no feathers), expect there to be some percentage of feather parts (calamus, rachis, vane and/or barbs). To some folks, over time (or right away), they hear and/or feel these "hard" items within their pillow. Me, I'm too tired to notice. SMILE
