It’s a very nice weight and my husband loves the cooling side. I will say we have ran into a weird problem with the split design in our dogs. They either get to hot on one side and try to go on the other side a lot through the night or they try to get under the blanket where the two sides are stitched together. It’s a very odd issue but it’s something we deal with now lol
