TLDR: It (naturally) softens/'deflates' over time. Within the first 8 months it's great, and then it is now a little too flat/soft for my head and neck when I sleep. So it just doesn't fit my preference anymore. If you are looking for a pillow that will maintain structural integrity and not soften up over time, this is probably not the right pillow for you. At first the pillow was great! I loved it, I got really good sleep with it, and I felt that my head and neck were supported quite well. I usually sleep on my back, so this was good for it. However, over time it got a little softer and softer, and now it is a little too soft that it doesn't really feel like my neck is supported, it almost feels as if the pillow is a ramp rather than a pillow. Turning it over and around doesn't do anything either, each side of the pillow is a little different in shape and softness now. Honestly a little disappointed and am losing a little hope in foam pillows since I feel like this kind of softening up is inevitable. I'm thinking that it might be better if you go for a midloft and overtime, the midloft may soften up to a 'height' that you want it to be, but since I did try the midloft before, the first few nights are probably going to need some getting used to since it's pretty tall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great pillow. It keeps its form all night long and offers a nice structure for comfortable sleep. One minor issue is that it is not quite high enough for me as a side sleeper. Because of this, I still need to prop it up with other pillows.

I also will endorse that this pillow solves all the 'kinkiness' in my neck when I started using it. For me, it's ok comfort wise but not too hot or cool. But I am docking 1 star because it is not the uber comfortable pillow that I was reading from other reviewers. It is NOT uncomfortable by any stretch but just not what I have been used to. But then my neck doesn't kink anymore because everything is aligned & my prior pillows were more comfortable but did my neck no favors! LOL!
