Machine washed the pillow cases in cold water before use. They came out of the machine in a crinkled ball. I shook them out and flattened them with my hands. Care instructions say drip dry. So I did. Now that they are dried and are wrinkled they need to be ironed before I put them on the bed. They come with an envelope closure which especially needs to be ironed because it is misshapened. They feel soft but not what I expected.
