Couvre-boîte à mouchoirs Capiz

I so wanted to love this, because the beautiful capiz shell leaves mimic my new bathroom wallaper. And the photos made the box appear white or off-white, so I was hopeful. Read all the reviews and realized I'd have to remove tissues from the box to insert them, so was prepared. BUT, one corner was damaged (wonder if I got the one someone else had photographed?) and the varnish used gives it a gold color, which does not match my bathroom. Disappointed. You can tell this is handmade, and actually is attractive except for the varnish color and the one chip.

The material used is rough in spots. One corner was damaged under the packing ( left the seller in this condition).

I was hesitant to get this tissue box, due to the other entries saying it was too small, etc. But I'm glad I ordered it. It looks beautiful in our bedroom among our antiques. It's just lovely! (And I don't mind taking the tissue out of the cardboard and loading it in this cover.) Take a chance, you won't be disappointed.
