The idea of a duvet cover seemed like a great idea, since I'd had no luck finding a suitable bedspread. But the description of blue/brown is 'off.' It really is more purple, as one reviewer noted. There is blue, & there is brown, but neither of those is dominant. Also, the material wrinkles horribly. You can't wash or smooth it out...ever. That element is the most disappointing. I'd hoped to buy several of these, to do seasonal switch-outs, but I won't. The artwork is great, but the quality just isn't there.
