Despite the numerous positive reviews, this mattress was just NOT it for me, and I would highly recommend avoiding it.
Yes, the mattress is firm at first, but after sleeping on it for a few hours, it starts to form a noticeable dip, especially if you tend to sleep on the same side of the bed every night. The worst part is that it can take a couple of days for the mattress to fully rise back up. I constantly feel like I’m sinking while I’m sleeping, and I’ve started waking up with back pain because of it.
I also would not recommend this mattress for a heavier person. I’m not even that heavy, and the sinking is already this noticeable, so I can’t imagine how uncomfortable it would be with more weight.
I sent pictures to the manufacturer showing the issue, and all they offered me was a refund of about 40. I decided to give the mattress another month to see if it improved, but unfortunately, it’s still terrible. Thankfully, Wayfair was kind enough to allow me to return it.
I’m going back to the mattress I purchased from Wayfair about five years ago, the 14-inch hybrid mattress by Sleep by Wayfair. I only replaced that one because my dogs had several accidents on it over the years, and I no longer felt comfortable sleeping on it. Otherwise, I absolutely loved that mattress. It was incredibly comfortable, didn’t sink or develop dips, and wasn’t overly firm. It was honestly the perfect balance, so I’ll be purchasing that one again. I give this manufacturer a F for being unhelpful and not taking accountability that their product is trash.
