Not as nice as the pictures on your website made it look. I thought it was a satin on the white portion and it’s a cotton like material with silver threads woven into it and the border is dark gray. It has a strong chemical smell, even after washing. The pillows were smooshed up and I had to maneuver the stuffing to get the proper shape out of them. My bed frame doesn’t allow a dust ruffle. Also, please note the condition of the plastic shipping bag it was shipped in, I’m surprised the comforter wasn’t torn.

I’m really pleased with this comforter set. It looks elegant on the bed and gives the whole bedroom a much more finished and coordinated appearance. The comforter is soft and comfortable, and I like that the set includes all the matching pieces instead of having to purchase everything separately. In contrast, the shams of my previous set were slightly undersized, causing the pillows to protrude. I particularly appreciate the three accent pillows, which enhance the overall aesthetic of the set. However, the set’s size is a notable drawback. It does not extend to the bed skirt, and the intricate pattern is confined to the top portion. The sides remain a solid gray, making it challenging to align the pattern and solid evenly across the bed. Ideally, the spread should incorporate the same pattern. The quality of the fabric is very nice and unlikely to snag. I always check that particular detail because I’ve had some that would snag so easily. Given the considerations of the pattern alignment, I am unlikely to purchase another set of this design in the future. I currently own three other bed sets from Mayfair that I hold in high regard. Based on the above information, it would be difficult for me to recommend this product.
