The motorized base unlocks the potential of the Helix mattress. Every time you adjust the bed - you get a new feeling of comfort. This mattress is 14 inches thick and yet you can still feel the massaging motors adding another level of enjoyment. The mattress on its own is excellent - with an iPhone operated motorized base - it is an amazing experience for reading, watching TV and sleeping.

I’m a side sleeper but always start out on my back. With my other mattress, laying on my back would make it hurt after only a few minutes. HOWEVER, my Helix mattress is so comfortable I have actually fallen asleep starting out on my back! Satified with my whole experience with Helix. Also, had no problem setting it up by myself 😊

It's a good mattress overall--I like the firmness underneath the plush cover. My joints and back don't hurt as much now when I wake up. The only problem that I have with it is that the edge is not very strong so you feel like you will roll off. This makes both my husband and I sleep towards the middle (which essentially shrinks the queen size bed).
