Very firm. Much more firm than expected. It did not soften in the first few months at all.

It's very comfy especially after the break in period.

I was hopeful this mattress would give me the support I needed for better sleep, it does not.

I've been sleeping on the Helix Twilight Luxe (Queen) with the GlacioTex Cooling Cover + CoolForce Layer and ErgoAlign Layer, and overall I've been very happy with it. The first thing I noticed was how well the mattress was packaged. Setup was straightforward, and everything arrived in excellent condition. Once expanded, the mattress felt very premium and well-constructed. The firmness is exactly what I was looking for. It provides solid support without feeling hard, and it's easy to move around on without feeling "stuck" in the mattress. For anyone who prefers a firmer sleep surface, this mattress delivers excellent support and stability. The ErgoAlign layer also seems to do a good job of keeping my body aligned throughout the night. The Twilight Luxe is designed as one of Helix's firmer Luxe models, and the ErgoAlign and cooling upgrades are intended to add support and temperature regulation. One of the standout features is the cooling performance. I tend to sleep warm, and the GlacioTex Cooling Cover with the CoolForce Layer genuinely makes a difference. The mattress stays noticeably cool throughout the night and doesn't trap heat the way many foam mattresses do. The GlacioTex cover is designed to feel cool to the touch, while the CoolForce layer is intended to help dissipate heat over time. My only minor criticism is the quilted/sewn pattern on the top cover. While it adds to the premium appearance, I occasionally notice the texture through thinner sheets, and it can be a little distracting when trying to get comfortable. It's not a dealbreaker by any means, but it's the one aspect I would change if I could. Overall, this is an excellent mattress if you're looking for a firm, supportive bed that sleeps cool and is easy to move around on. The quality feels premium, the cooling features work well, and I've been sleeping comfortably since day one. Highly recommended.
